Jug Fishing

From The TSP Survival Wiki
Jump to: navigation, search

Jug fishing is a method using a large float and a drop line. It is usually not labor intensive. The drop line is tied to the float, the hook baited, and set afloat by either dropping over the side of a boat or tossed from the bank. The jugs are watched for motion then retrieved. Treble hooks or other large hooks are used for catfish, one of the more common fish taken with this method. State laws vary for required tags with owner information on public waters.
